Adding more things to Olivia's Amazon wishlist!
Expensive wooden toys! They are so beautiful but we really don't need them.
Especially not all at once.
I decided, other moms probably feel what I feel when I see other kids with rooms filled with these beautiful wooden toys, that we can't possibly afford as a one income family.
So I shifted my MINDSET & I made a new Instagram follow me @thisbrokemom
I always collected cardboard boxes, glass jars, and left them in a corner.
Until I realized, I have cardboard, paint, and a box cutter.
I started searching for recycled toys on Pinterest.
& was so happy to see a mom had made a barn house that looked similar to a #barnhouse by the brand #TERRA, that I really have been wanting.
So I made it.
In the process of making this while Olivia napped, I felt my creativity come back into me. This breath of fresh air, creating, so now everyday after nap, I try to create something with what I have and that has been my #metime When she woke up! she was so surprised and grateful! that mommy made her a barn house! My heart!!!
The Process:
So far I have made, the barn house, with fence, a halloween banner using leaves! so fun to make it! & a beautiful, Daily rhythm chart for liv (not quite finished, need to buy velcro to stick them on)

Kids just want our time. It doesn't matter how many toys. It really doesn't matter!
